                               RESOLUTION NO. 20893
                 
                 
                  A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT NO. 11 TO
                  THE AGREEMENT WITH DENNIS W. SMITH RELATIVE TO
                  INSPECTION SERVICES ON EXISTING CONTRACTS TO
                  INCLUDE CONTRACT NO. 37A1a, SOUTH CHICKAMAUGA
                  CREEK INTERCEPTOR, TO DO ADDITIONAL WORK TO
                  EXTEND THE TIME OF COMPLETION AND TO PROVIDE
                  FOR AN ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATION OF NOT TO
                  EXCEED EIGHTEEN THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS
                  ($18,500.00).
                 
                 
                                                    
                 
                 
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized
       Amendment No. 11 to the Agreement with Dennis W. Smith relative 
to
       inspection services on existing contracts, including Contract No. 

       37A1a, South Chickamauga Creek Interceptor, to include additional 

       road work and sewer line, to extend the contract for a period of
       four (4) months beyond the original completion date, and to
       increase the consideration by an amount not to exceed $18,500.00.
